[Video] BMW M5 runs 200mph on the German Autobahn

There is already a BMW M5 that makes 1, 000 hp, but not everyone has seen how incredible its power can be. The main reason is because it is not allowed to run past the car’s speed limit. However, in places like the German Autobahn, such performance is entirely possible. The BMW M5 is an incredible car that is not usually found just anywhere else.

From a standstill, it only takes 25 seconds to reach 196 mph and the M5 is already moving towards the 200 mph+ regions of the speedometer. It was an incredible achievement to reach a massive speed on an unrestricted section of the Autobahn.

In fact, it is not the initial run that is the most impressive. What is more interesting is when the driver gets to run at intense speeds. Even though it looks quite easy, but note that the car is not designed for that much power. The F90 M5 only has 600 hp and there are significant updates made in the engine that pushes the car to its limits. These updates help in boosting the S63’s power to 1, 000 hp. 

Under the hood, the turbos, intake tract, exhaust and cooling system are modified for a more powerful drive. Although not everything is visible in the video, these updates can help push the car to even more impressive performance.
