The BMW X2 is one of the most unusual BMWs of the current generation. Customers love the stylish crossover especially when they aim for more than a practical sedan, yet still wanted the fuel economy and driving dynamics of the car. The BMW X2 Edition GoldPlay is available now with a crazy new equipment package. The equipment package is of course very extensive and includes gold accents for the exterior, interior, wheels, trim and even stitching.
The BMW X2 GoldPlay is available in six colours: San Remo Green, Alpine White, Misano Blue, Black Sapphire Metallic, Skyscraper Grey and the BMW Individual Storm Bay. You can also choose from Frozen Black Metallic and Frozen Pure Grey. These gold trim and accents in the photos are also in the colour options. Aside from that, there are also gold grilles, pinstripes, mirror caps with gold accents in the package. The gold paint and gold trim are not present on any of the Frozen models, instead the radiator grille surrounds and mirror caps are in black.
Gold-coloured door sill trims and a gold-coloured interior greet you when you open the doors. In addition to the gold piping on the carpets, the interior of the vehicle has gold pinstripes to match the exterior. That’s really all there is to it. The interior of the X2 is identical to that of all other models. Any X2 model can be equipped with the Edition GoldPlay. Regardless of the powertrain chosen, all Edition GoldPlay models get a few specific options. In addition to the M sports suspension, which lowers the ride height by 10 mm, the M aerodynamics package and Shadowline equipment are standard on all GoldPlay models. Both the 19-inch and 20-inch wheels have gold rim accents.
Apart from the gold accents, the GoldPlay BMW X2 Edition is a normal X2. Customers who buy BMW’s best-selling X2 model tend to be outgoing types. That’s why the model is getting a second generation, which will include an all-electric model. Many X2 buyers will appreciate the bold and funky design of the Edition GoldPlay, because the X2 has a quirky look.
