2023 BMW M760e Features Two-Tone Paint, Quad Exhaust

The M760i has been upgraded to the newer M760e. BMW designed the seventh generation of the 7 Series. The M760e can travel up to 53 miles on its 18.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. Even while WLTP is more practical than NEDC, obtaining those numbers in practise will be tough.

This M760e at BMW Welt in Munich has Dravit Grey and Sapphire Black two-tone paint, hinting BMW will use it for the 2023 7 Series. The specifications of this vehicle match those shown in the official photos taken at the G70’s introduction earlier this year. Bicolor wheels measuring 21 inches in diameter and sporting a M logo are standard equipment. While the XM’s tips were stacked, the M760e’s are now in a new quad form. A spoiler on the trunk lid implies this is the sportiest 7 Series, but next year’s i7 M70 will be the real deal with 660 electric hp. The M Performance plug-in hybrid has 571 hp and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft).

The number of cylinders has been cut in half since the letter i has been replaced with the letter “e” from one generation to the next. The M760e features a hybrid powertrain consisting of an inline-six gas engine and an electric motor. Still, it is surprisingly fast for a vehicle of its size and weight, needing only 4.3 seconds to reach 62 mph (100 km/h) from a complete stop. BMW claims that the elegant performance sedan can accelerate from 50 to 75 mph (80 to 120 km/h) in 2.7 seconds.

You may not even need to use the combustion engine for short excursions around town. The M760e can travel up to 53 miles on its 18.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. Even while WLTP is more practical than NEDC, obtaining those numbers in practise will be tough.
