BMW i4 M50 Tanzanite Blue On Display With M Performance Parts

On December 12, the 2022 Essen Motor Show will come to an end. This gives you plenty of opportunity to look at the BMW cars featured at SEMA in Europe. The new M2 and M3 Touring are the event’s main draws. However, other cars also have the complete complement of M Performance Parts installed. A 330e Sedan LCI and this i4 M50 may even be on display in Verde Mantis.

This electric gran coupe gets an Individual paint with its stylish Tanzanite Blue finish. The i4 M50 also stands out with its carbon fibre exterior accents. Its rear diffuser, side mirror covers, and tailgate-mounted spoiler are all lightweight materials. Even the shark fin antenna and the air inlet trim on the front and rear aprons are visible in carbon fibre.

The optional diamond-cut 20-inch alloy wheels with a Night Gold and Black finish are a sight on the i4 M50. It also gives a sportier vibe with its side decal in Frozen Black. As a final reminder that the M division will commemorate its 50th anniversary in 2022, the vintage Motorsport insignia have taken the place of the standard BMW roundels. The valve stem caps in the i4 M50 are decorated with the “world’s most powerful letter”. And lastly, the upper portions of the windshield and rear glass have stickers that read “M Performance Parts.”

The EV features several interior improvements, just like the other BMW vehicles on show at the current Essen Motor Show. You can easily notice the carbon fibre sill plates proudly displaying the M Performance lettering inside. Along with the decorative stitching in the M colours, the emblem has also been affixed to the central armrest’s Alcantara covering.

The show car differs from a standard i4 M50. It features a carbon-spoke M Performance steering wheel, Alcantara on the sides, and contrasting stitching in three well-known colours. Along with the other interior trim elements constructed of the same tough material, the gear lever includes carbon fibre inserts. The BMW M4 Competition Coupe draped in Purple Silk and equipped with M Performance Parts is one of two 4 Series models with conventional engines on display.
