The United Kingdom, along with Japan and Australia, was instrumental in persuading BMW to produce the M3 Touring in right-hand drive. The local branch of the carmaker has chosen to display a unique G81. BMW has already begun selling the M3 Touring as a “super wagon” loaded with extra features in Britain. The matte Individual paint (Frozen Portimao Blue) on the speed family transporter contrasts with the gold calipers on the carbon ceramic brakes.
Celebrating its 50th anniversary, M emblems adorn the latest offering from Bavaria, the M3 Touring. The Touring is a long-awaited response to competition from the Mercedes-AMG C63 Estate and Audi RS4 Avant. It boasts various carbon fiber exterior details for a distinct, sporty look. The laser headlights and blacked-out kidney grille serve as visual cues of its high-performance capabilities. The lightweight carbon fiber panel option is currently exclusive to the M3 Sedan. BMW also plans to make the lightweight carbon fiber panel option at hand for the M340i Sedan. This already started in 2022 when the 3 Series LCI arrived.
BMW UK chose to use all Merino Ivory White leather upholstery for its interior. As a result, it is far more impressive than the outside. Additionally, you’ll see the optional front bucket seats with a carbon fiber shell. This give off a station wagon racing car impression. The dashboard prominently showcases even more carbon fiber details. This also includes the spokes of the steering wheel, which only serves to emphasize the point.
BMW delayed the release of the M3 Touring until the Life Cycle Impulse of the 3 Series. Also, the high-performance wagon comes with the iDrive 8. The posh curved glass houses a 14.9-inch touchscreen that is also found on the M3 Sedan, M340i, and the less expensive 3er versions, as well as a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The 4 Series Coupe/Convertible and its M variants will probably soon make the switch to the newest hardware.
The M3 Touring, which is set to be released with the 3 Series LCI, will be marketed by BMW until 2027, according to company sources. It may even get a makeover around the middle of the decade when the M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe/Convertible are sure to undergo cosmetic updates.
