BMW releases a new batch of photos and videos of the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Concept. The first BMW hybrid supercar will begin production in late 2013 at the Leipzig plant. Deliveries will start as early as 2014. BMW plans to sell more than 1,000 units in the first year of release.
TheEfficientDynamics Concept is powered by a 1.5 liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine aided by two electric motors delivering 163 horsepower and 214 lb-ft of torque all on its own. The vehicle weighs 1,450 kg and runs from 0-62 mph in only 4.8 seconds. Overall performance is similar to the current M3.
