2023 BMW M2 Stuns in Countryside Shoot with Toronto Red and Brooklyn Grey

The BMW M2 arrives as the latest addition to the M lineup. It boasts a stunning palette of seven captivating colours, solidifying its position as the most alluring M product currently available. Exciting news suggests that by 2024, more paint choices will be ready for the G87 model. Until then, the options include Black Sapphire, Alpine White, and the exclusive Zandvoort Blue. This also consists of the distinct Individual Frozen Pure Grey, striking Toronto Red, sophisticated Brooklyn Grey, and remarkable Portimao Blue.

BMW Poland orchestrated a captivating rural photo shoot featuring a dynamic duo, with the spotlight predominantly on the red car. Both vehicles have carbon fibre roofs, sleek Shadowline headlamps, and eye-catching two-tone 930 M alloys complemented by red brake callipers. Since its October 2022 debut, the second-generation M2 has seen an enhanced design by introducing “basic” variants. Without aggressive M Performance Parts, these versions amplify the car’s allure.

The M2 has great potential for commercial success in the ever-changing automotive industry. Despite its divisive aesthetics, it stands out among its few competitors with rear-wheel drive, manual transmission, and a pure internal combustion engine. Enthusiasts who value these features will likely choose the M2 despite its polarizing appearance.

The G87 marks the culmination of the manual transmission era as BMW has confirmed that all forthcoming M models will embrace electrification, indicating the demise of the clutch pedal. However, it’s worth noting that there’s a glimmer of hope for a Z4 M40i featuring a bespoke gearbox reminiscent of the six-speed Toyota GR Supra. With future M2 variants projected to exceed 500 horsepower, the likelihood of a manual transmission in the anticipated 2025 CS model appears uncertain. The same holds true for the speculated M2 xDrive, expected no sooner than 2026.
