MINI recently unveiled the exclusive MINI John Cooper Works 1TO6 Edition, limited to 999 units. This remarkable model debuted at the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The 1TO6 Edition brings back the six-speed manual transmission, a rarity in some markets like Germany, making it a must-have for genuine MINI driving enthusiasts.
Under the Midnight Black Metallic hood, the MINI JCW 1TO6 Edition packs a potent turbocharged 2.0-liter gasoline engine. It delivers an impressive 231 hp and 236 pound-feet (320 Nm) of torque. The hatchback can sprint from 0 to 62 mph in just 6.3 seconds, reaching a top speed of 153 mph (246 km/h). The 1TO6 Edition promises an unparalleled go-kart feel and driving experience.
The MINI JCW 1TO6 Edition exudes exclusivity with its captivating design. The Midnight Black Metallic paint complements sleek Piano Black exterior trims and Jet Black 18″ Circuit Spoke alloy wheels. An edition-specific stripe runs along the vehicle’s length, strikingly contrasting. Inside, Nappa leather sports seats, a combination of alcantara and fabric, and distinctive “1TO6” badges showcase its uniqueness.
Production of the MINI JCW 1TO6 Edition starts in Q3 2023. It’s an attractive collector’s piece, priced at $45,300 MSRP with an extra $2,500 premium over the base model. The German market gets 100 units, but pricing is yet to be announced. Anticipation is high for this limited-production masterpiece, representing MINI’s timeless appeal and driving pleasure.
