MINI John Cooper Works Shines in RCN Challenge at the ‘Ring

Bulldog Racing made waves at the Nürburgring this year, taking 2nd place in the close-to-production turbocharged class. They did it with a manual MINI John Cooper Works Edition. They continued by entering the same car in the challenging 24.358-kilometre RCN race, requiring 13 intense laps.

Behind the wheel were German drivers Jens Dralle and Christoph Kragenings. Dralle, known for his skills, had raced for Bulldog Racing in 2022. Kragenings, meanwhile, marked the best result for a MINI in a 24-hour race.

Competing in the VT2 class with 19 starters, Dralle and Kragenings secured 7th place and 48th overall out of 149 cars. The RCN emphasizes lap time consistency, setting it apart from conventional races.

As the season ends, the RCN e.V. will host the 3-hour “Schwedenkreuz” race on October 28, offering Bulldog Racing a chance to finish the season strong and prepare for the 2024 racing season. Bulldog Racing continues to impress in the world of motorsport.
