In 2022, BMW M Motorsport revealed the M4 GT4, which concluded a stellar debut season in 2023 with 180+ podiums and 70+ class victories across global races. Due to high demand, an additional 50 units will be produced and delivered in 2024.
Notably, BMW M Motorsport is already working on the M4 GT4 EVO, following the successful formula of the previous-generation model. The aim is to enhance the car further based on customer feedback, as stated by Björn Lellmann, Head of Customer Racing.
Simultaneously, improvements are underway for the M3 GT3 EVO, while the M Hybrid V8 gears up for its WEC debut in 2024 after entering the IMSA series in 2023. The possibility of a successor to the F87-generation M2 CS Racing is also being explored.
When it comes to road-legal track cars, BMW is set to unveil the M4 CS, the fastest production car around the Nürburgring. The CS treatment will extend to the M2 and M3 Touring, adding to the lineup that already includes the M3 CS Sedan. The spotlight also falls on the highly anticipated M4 CSL and the iconic 3.0 CSL, marking the latter as BMW’s most expensive new car and the most potent inline-six model in the brand’s storied history.
