Yet, during a BMW hands-on review on both road and track, the G87 M2 skillfully hid its weight on the road and track. We rarely noticed its bulk, except when comparing it to the lighter F87 M2 CS. Still, the latest BMW M2 stands out with its features. It boasts the powerful BMW S58 engine, an improvement over the B58 found in many BMW models. This 3.0-litre twin-turbo inline-six engine pushes out 453 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. The car channels power to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission. Both options are designed to enhance the car’s performance.
