The BMW M3 MT Final Edition comes in three exclusive shades: Alpine White, M Brooklyn Grey, and Black Sapphire. Each colour boasts a limited run of 50 units. In homage to Roberto Ravaglia’s legendary M3 E30 DTM, all models feature matte gold bronze double-spoke (827 M) wheels. Despite the left-hand drive images, BMW Japan confirms a right-hand drive layout for each car.
The M3 G80 often comes as a Competition variant in Japan, making manual transmission rare in this Bavarian sports sedan. Post this limited edition, the 6MT might vanish forever. Eager buyers can grab a stick shift M3 for ¥14,200,000, about $96,000 today. While a US base M3 starts at $76,995, the price jump is partly due to different tax rates.
This limited edition likely marks the performance sedan’s last update before a redesign. Sources near Munich hint that the M3 G80 and M3 G81, available in Japan, will get a minor facelift in July. They’re set to adopt the new M4 G82 Coupe and M4 G83 Convertible features. Expect subtle changes to both exterior and interior designs. Additionally, the Competition xDrive models are poised to gain an extra 20 horsepower, aligning with the 2025 M4 all-wheel drive’s power.
