At the 18th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition 2024, MINI unveiled the all-electric MINI Aceman, marking its world premiere alongside the MINI Cooper and the robust MINI John Cooper Works Countryman ALL4. Hosted at the China International Exhibition Center, this display showcased MINI’s latest generation to the world’s largest auto market.
The MINI Aceman, positioned between the MINI Cooper and MINI Countryman, introduces a unique, all-electric concept. This aligns with the “New Era, New Cars” theme of the show. The electric MINI Cooper comes in “E” and “SE” power levels. The MINI John Cooper Works Countryman ALL4 also features intelligent all-wheel drive. Together, these models showcase MINI’s diverse and innovative product range.
Held every two years since 1990, Auto China occupies over 200,000 square meters and features over 700 exhibitors. This event provides a vital platform for MINI to emphasize its commitment to electrification and performance. The MINI Cooper models, especially the Cooper E and Cooper SE, are key highlights with their impressive specifications. The Cooper E, presented in Favoured Trim and Sunny Side Yellow, delivers a power output of 135 kW/184 hp and a range of 305 kilometres on a single charge. Charging from 10% to 80% takes just 28 minutes with a 75 kW charger.
The Cooper SE ramps up excitement with its 160 kW/218 hp engine and a range of up to 402 kilometres. It features a British Racing Green finish, paying homage to MINI’s racing heritage and showcasing stylish Classic Trim. Additionally, the Cooper SE is presented in John Cooper Works Trim at the event. It sports a red roof and Legend Grey body, complete with exclusive design elements that highlight its sporty character.
The MINI John Cooper Works Countryman ALL4 also significantly impacted with its ALL4 all-wheel drive and 221 kW/300 hp engine, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds. The interior, featuring JCW sports seats and contrasting red stitching, complements the sporty chilli red accents on the exterior.
