[VIDEO] Bagged 2024 BMW G87 M2: A First Look

R44 Performance celebrates one year into the production of the BMW G87 M2 with a showcase of increasingly bold modifications. One build truly stands out—the first 2024 G87 M2 equipped with Air Lift’s 3H air suspension system.

This M2 sports BBS LMR 3-piece split alloy wheels under its advanced suspension. These wheels perfectly match the car’s black sapphire paintwork, boosting its sleek look. Up front, CSL-yellow daytime running lights contrast sharply with the dark exterior. They add a vibrant splash of colour that wraps around the car’s rear.

The front boasts a carbon fibre Edition 1 splitter from MHC LDN, a first for the G87 M2. This kit blends seamlessly with the M2’s square front bumper, a challenge MHC LDN’s designers expertly handled. They also swapped the standard gloss black centre section of the bumper for a carbon piece. This new addition to the MHC catalogue is set to be a hit with G87 owners.

On the sides, MHC LDN Edition 1 side skirts stretch elegantly to the flared rear wheel arches. Upgrading to carbon fibre mirror covers boosts the vehicle’s profile, offering a more upscale look than OEM parts. All carbon fibre parts use pre-preg carbon for unmatched quality and durability, and they include a three-year warranty.

The transformation peaks at the rear, where a three-piece rear diffuser and a Maxton Design carbon rear wing with an integrated dynamic LED light bar make a bold statement. These features ensure the M2 stands out, attracting attention at shows and on the street. Inside, the car boasts track-pack carbon fibre bucket seats and a subtle M Performance Alcantara armrest, enhancing aesthetics and comfort.

On the performance front, the vehicle maintains a mostly standard configuration, outfitted with a Milltek Sport OPF-back exhaust system that slightly deepens the engine’s tone. Despite the restrictive nature of the OPF, mandated in the EU for emissions control, the owner has chosen to retain these filters to ensure the vehicle remains completely street-legal.
