Innovations like new paint options, light alloy wheels, and updated interior appointments elevate its appeal. Based on BMW Operating System 8.5, introducing the new BMW iDrive with QuickSelect enhances the digital experience.
Emphasizing its performance heritage, the BMW 2 Series Coupé is built for an exhilarating drive. It has potent engines, including a standout six-cylinder in the BMW M240i xDrive Coupé, delivering superior power and efficient footprint. The vehicle maintains its rear-wheel-drive essence, augmented by an eight-speed Steptronic transmission for dynamic responsiveness.
Scheduled for release in August 2024, the coupé will be manufactured at the BMW Group plant in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. This facility is noted for its sustainable production methods, further aligning with BMW’s commitment to eco-friendly manufacturing. The BMW 2 Series Coupé also features extensive design enhancements. With the M Sport Package now standard, it sports a more aggressive look characterized by large air intakes and a newly designed rear apron. The coupé’s silhouette is distinguished by a power dome on the bonnet and a striking rear air scoop, reflecting its dynamic capabilities.
Inside, the focus is on luxury and digital integration. The BMW Curved Display is central to the cockpit’s design, supporting intuitive operations and reducing physical controls. New ambient lighting options and updated materials, including M Performtex seats and optional Sensatec upholstery, provide a tailored and upscale environment.
