BMW’s Exciting Showcases at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024

BMW made a spectacular impression at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024 with the debut of the new BMW M5 in the legendary hill climb race. The seventh-generation high-performance sedan, boasting 727 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque, wowed spectators with its V8 engine and electric motor blend.

The festival also featured the first public appearance of the BMW X3 M50 xDrive, highlighting its advanced agility and cutting-edge technology. Alongside these new models, BMW showcased its rich motorsport legacy with legendary vehicles such as the Le Mans-winning BMW V12 LMR and the iconic BMW 2002 TIK. Notable drivers like Prince Leopold of Bavaria and Johnny Cecotto thrilled the crowd by driving these historic cars up the hill.

BMW Group Classic presented an impressive array of unique creations and concept cars, including the BMW Vision Neue Klasse and the BMW i5 Flow NOSTOKANA, emphasising innovative design and electric power. Another event highlight was the BMW Concept Skytop, an open-top two-seater combining classic elegance and modern performance.
