Electrifying Performance Meets Practicality in the New BMW M5 Touring

BMW M GmbH continues to push the boundaries of high-performance vehicles by introducing the new BMW M5 Touring. This latest model combines the exhilaration of a high-revving V8 engine with the efficiency of an electric motor, generating a formidable 727 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque. The M HYBRID drive system offers an electrified driving experience that is both dynamic and versatile, ideal for everyday use and long journeys.

The M5 Touring’s design is an athletic statement, with body-coloured surfaces and a sleek Black roof accentuating its Touring proportions. The vehicle’s bold front end and powerful rear design, highlighted by the BMW M kidney grille and dual exhausts, embody the car’s performance pedigree.

Under the hood, the M HYBRID system pairs a 4.4-liter V8 with an electric motor, producing a combined power output that delivers rapid acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds. The electric motor provides instant torque, enabling smooth, powerful delivery right from a standstill. With an electric-only range of up to 67 kilometres, the M5 Touring can also drive zero-emission in urban environments.

The vehicle’s chassis and suspension systems are finely tuned to match its hybrid powertrain, ensuring precise handling and a balanced ride. Equipped with M-specific features like adaptive suspension and an integrated braking system, the M5 Touring is as comfortable on the road as it can be on the track.

Set to debut at Monterey Car Week in August 2024, the BMW M5 Touring will hit the market later in the year, with Germany, the USA, and the UK among the key markets. This model continues BMW M GmbH’s tradition of blending performance with practicality in a truly electrifying package.
