BMW M Team WRT Triumphs in Fuji with Historic Podium

BMW M Team WRT secured a momentous achievement at the FIA World Endurance Championship in Fuji, marking their first-ever podium finish with the BMW M Hybrid V8. Drivers Raffaele Marciello, Dries Vanthoor, and Marco Wittmann delivered a flawless performance, elevating the team to a second-place finish. The entire team celebrated the result, highlighting months of hard work and dedication.

The BMW M Hybrid V8 showed strong potential throughout the weekend, especially during practice sessions. Vanthoor’s third-place qualification set the stage for an impressive race, where Wittmann pushed the car to second place early on. Although the race for car #20 faced setbacks due to debris, the performance of the #15 car was nothing short of stellar.

In the LMGT3 class, the BMW M4 GT3 team also impressed, climbing from a difficult qualifying position to secure third place. The teamwork and strategic efforts of drivers Ahmad Al Harthy, Maxime Martin, and Valentino Rossi paid off with a podium finish, adding to the event’s excitement.
