Under the hood, the 2 Series Gran Coupé introduces a fully renewed engine portfolio, offering petrol and diesel options. Powered by BMW’s advanced 4-cylinder engines, including the range-topping M235 xDrive with 221 kW (300 hp), this model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. All variants come equipped with a 7-speed Steptronic transmission with double-clutch technology, delivering seamless gear changes and maximising performance. BMW’s 48-volt mild-hybrid technology, available in selected models, enhances fuel efficiency and reduces emissions, aligning performance with eco-conscious standards.

The suspension system has been extensively re-engineered for improved handling and comfort. Furthermore, the M Sport package includes an Adaptive M suspension with variable damping and sports steering, allowing precise control and responsiveness during high-speed cornering. The reinforced body structure further enhances agility, offering sharper steering feedback and improved stability. Paired with standard 17-inch alloy wheels (18-inch on the M235 xDrive), the Gran Coupé’s driving dynamics are significantly refined.

Inside, the cabin focuses on both luxury and technology. The new leather-free interior features high-quality materials like Veganza and Alcantara and hand-stitched details for a premium finish. BMW’s latest iDrive system, powered by the BMW Operating System 9, allows for intuitive control of vehicle functions via touch, voice, or steering wheel commands. While in-car gaming and digital services add modern convenience, the BMW Curved Display enhances the driver’s experience with seamless access to real-time vehicle information.

With state-of-the-art driver assistance systems, such as Driving Assistant and Parking Assistant, the 2 Series Gran Coupé is equipped for partially automated driving. Combined with precision engineering and advanced digitalisation, these systems make this model an impressive fusion of technology, performance, and luxury in the compact car market.
