BMW K 1300 S Ends Long Production Cycle

The K 1300 S started production in 2008 and is considered one of the old ones in the line up of BMW bikes. As 2016 comes to a close, it finally ends its long production cycle. Though it has officially been discontinued for 2017, no replacement has been announced yet.

The K 1300 S followed the K 1200 S and at launch time, they were both amazing bikes. However, when the lighter and more powerful S 1000 RR came, it stole the limelight. During its time, the K 1300 S had almost 170hp, and reaches nearly 190mph if equipped with an electronically adjustable suspension setup.
