In order to build “a global community of motorcyclists”, BMW Motorrad decided on a collaboration with a tech startup Rever. With Rever, you can find new roads and track your rides, then share what you did with you friends on social media.
BMW wants to promote motorcycle riding to the target market through the app.
Rever is a new company, founded in 2015 in Colorado. They offer free and premium versions of the app with various features in each.
Heiner Faust, BMW Motorrad VP of Sales and Marketing, said about the collaboration:
We see the future of motorcycling as a connected experience, one that has riders using the latest technology to enhance their rides and allow others to share their passion for riding. Rever is offering a very promising mobile technology in our industry and we are very excited about the future business potential we see together with Rever.
Rever is equally excited about the future partnership. Justin Bradshaw, Co-Founder of Rever, said:
Working with BMW, we will bring innovative technology to the fore and make the entire motorcycle riding experience more accessible, more rewarding and more connected.â€
Mark Roebke, the CEO, added:
We are really excited to be incorporating new technology to enhance riding experience and grow the enthusiasm for motorcycling around the world.
In the era of social media, everything becomes a social activity. Riding is no exception and apps like this can only enhance the positive experience. Rever is available for Android and iOS so you can try it right away.
