BMW Motorrad appears in “Resident Evil: The Final Chapter”

Resident Evil is a popular in the gaming world and now it returns to the big screen for the sixth part of the movie series. The main character of the latest film, “Resident Evil: The Final Chapter,” is Milla Jovovich. Towards the peak of the story, she faces evil in a final battle and she will be using BMW Motorrad to win it. Check out the first official trailer for the film showing soon:

The motorcycle here is unmistakably designed by BMW. It is none other than the powerful BMW S 1000 XR. Because of its capabilities, Jovovich was able to reach the depopulated streets of a destroyed world.

This particular BMW bike is powered by a straight-four-cylinder engine delivering 118 kW (160 hp) at 11,000 rpm and generates maximum torque of 112 Nm (83 lb-ft) at 9,250 rpm. The power unit is basically derived from the S 1000 R roadster and it is abundant in torque. It allows the BMW S 1000 XR to have a punchy response at low and medium revs. Most riders find this very enjoyable when powering along country roads or carrying a passenger.

BMW Group and BMW Motorrad takes pride in being featured in another big movie franchise. “Resident Evil: The Final Chapter” is just a continuation of the brand’s effort to market the products, similar to other movie franchise features like the “Mission Impossible” series.

“Resident Evil: The Final Chapter” will be shown in theaters in January 2017.
