BMW Motorrad Takes 6th Place in 2010 WSBK Championship

In BMW Motorrad’s second year on the race, they have taken 6th place among 7 teams who competed and the 11th place out of 28 drivers. This is clearly  not what BMW aimed for at the 2010 World Super Bike Championship, but it is still a successful season for the team after all.

Their aim of getting a podium finish was achieved by Troy Corser in Monza, Italy. Placing in at third. The 2011 World Superbike Championship will be another challenge for BMW. With Both Troy Corser and Leon Haslam and their extensive racing experience up BMW’s sleeve, coupled with the S1000RR, the future is still very promising for the BMW Motorrad Team.
