BMW i8 at GPEC Leipzig 2016

This year’s GPEC (General Police Equipment Exhibition & Conference) BMW will showcase some of the newest emergency vehicles. All eyes will be on the emergency BMW i3, specifically made for the authority services.

Everything you could expect on one ER vehicle can be found on the i3 – from the wrap to the LED lights. Still, even though it looks completely ready for any task on the outside, there’s no official confirmation on the inside equipment it features.

Besides the i3, BMW will present six more emergency vehicles at this year’s GPEC in Leipzig. There will be a BMW 318d Touring and a BMW 220d xDrive Grand tourer, police vehicles. Also, a BMW X5 xDrive50i Security Plus will be presented with the maximum passenger protection. 3 more motorcycle model will be showcased, including a BMW R 1200 RT, BMW F 700 GS, and BMW F 800 GS.

The event will take place in Leipzig on Tuesday, June 7th to Thursday, June 9th. This is the biggest specialized trade fair for emergency vehicles and it’s held biennially.
