BMW is set to make waves in the electric vehicle market with its latest addition, the BMW iX1 eDrive20, this November 2023. The iX1 eDrive20 boasts an impressive electric range of 430 to 475 kilometers on the WLTP. This range stands as a testament to BMW’s commitment to sustainability.

Under the hood, the iX1 eDrive20 boasts a 150 kW (204 hp) electric motor with 247 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds and has a top speed of 170 km/h. The vehicle features a 64.7 kWh high-voltage battery with various charging options. Standard AC charging takes 6.5 hours, and three-phase AC charging takes 3 hours and 45 minutes. DC charging at 130 kW takes just 29 minutes for a 10-80% charge.

While the iX1 eDrive20 will turn heads, this electric gem won’t be making its way to the U.S. market. However, it joins the ranks of the all-wheel-drive iX1 xDrive30 model, which is set to make its mark with two electric motors powered by a 64.7 kWh net capacity battery. With a total power output of 313 horsepower (40 hp from Boost mode) and 494 Nm of torque (364 lb-ft), the iX1 xDrive30 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 5.3 seconds, showcasing BMW’s commitment to electrifying the future of driving.
