The New BMW iX3 Drives in Europe

BMW’s iX3 – its first electric SUV – goes for a ride in Eastern Europe, traveling from one country to another. Local BMW branches took the opportunity to showcase the car and also the beautiful landscapes of the country. BMW Bulgaria steps in and gets the best photos out of the BMW iX3.

BMW launches the new BMW iX3 electric SUV wearing a Mineral White coating as its marketing color and the official press. Most of its photoshoots feature a classy white coating. However, this can come finished with six exterior metallic colors. It can be in the classy Carbon Black, Mineral White, and Sophisto Grey metallic. Other options could be Piemont Red, Cashmere Silver, and Phytonic Blue.

Seats of the BMW iX3 come in two Sensatec leather upholsteries options in Black and Mokka. BMW also offers several door cover ornaments and dashboards such as black trims and shiny grey popular wood, Fineline Cove open-pore and aluminum, and glossy dark oak wood. Premium iX3 models have Vernasca pure leather upholstery in Canberra Beige, Cognac, Mokka, and Black coating.

The BMW iX3 makes up to 286 horsepower with 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. It can reach 100 km/h in a crunchy 6.8 seconds in rear-wheel-drive only. Based on a recent driving test from BMWBLOG, it had an average energy consumption of 22 kWh/100 km. It means that it can reach a range of 336 kilometers in full charge. However, it can still vary depending on the speed.

At average speeds of 75 km/h, the iX3’s average energy consumption was 19 kWh/100 – a range of 390 kilometers. Yet, in European highways, it managed to make 24 kWh/100 km at a speed limit of 130 km/h. That adds about 300 kilometers for the range.

This BMW iX3 electric SUV is only available in China. It turned off some BMW potential customers of the iX3. China is the largest automotive market worldwide and home to more sales of EVs than European countries. Later on, the iX became available in Europe as well.
