Alexander Zverev from Germany has won his third ATP title by winning the final match of the BMW Open with a 6-4 and 6-3. Additionally, Zverev received a brand new BMW i8 Protonic Frozen Black Edition as the winning prize.
The 20-year-old Zverev needed 72 minutes to secure the first place in a match against Guido Pella from Argentina. It was not easy in the beginning, but the final win got him to the 17th place on the ATP list.
“It is very important for me to win my first title here in Germany. Especially after I failed last year in the semifinals. I feel very comfortable in Munich. The organizer MMP, the club MTTC and of course the sponsors around BMW and FWU always create a great atmosphere,” Zverev said.
