Now, customers from the UK can choose between a wide array of unique paint finishes for the BMW i8 as part of the BMW Individual collection. BMW stays true to their design language as the colors complement the BMW i8s styling, while allowing customers to choose what suits their preference best.

The new Individual Paint colors for the i8 are Java Green, Speed Yellow, Solar Orange, Twilight Purple Pearl, Frozen Grey, Frozen Black, San Marino Blue, Grigio Telesto Pearl, and many more. Customers can also choose from non-metallic, metallic or Xirallic (a mixture of synthetic mica or aluminium flakes to produce scintillating effects) paint finishes for further customization. The matte finish of the frozen paint looks very striking with a unique shimmer. It accentuates the design lines of the i8 and makes it look like a character.

The BMW Individual paint programme introduced new colors for the BMW i8 primarily because of the very positive reception of the Protonic Red limited edition in the UK. More than 1,400 BMW i8 units were sold in the UK since 2014. It has even won Top Gear Car of the year in 2014, 2015 UK Car of the Year and World Green Car Award to name a few. It is definitely a well respected car.
