The i Division still seems all new, but it’s nearly a time to see its cars updated. In 2018, we will not only get the BMW i8 Facelift but the BMW i3 S as well.
According to some sources, the i3 S will be sold as a separate model. BMW won’t shut off the regular i3. The new EV will be the first proper electric hatch. Naturally, it will be built upon the i3, but it will feature the tech from the upcoming i3 facelift.
We all want to know about the range of the future sporty hybrid. Unfortunately, that information is not yet available. What we know is that some aesthetic updates will definitely happen, both on the exterior and the interior.
It’s still not official, but we expect the BMW to present this model either at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September or the LA Auto Show in November.
