2014 Car of the Year Nominees: BMW 4 Series, i3 and X5

The organizers of Europe’s most prestigious automotive accolade announced the nominees for the Car of the Year 2014 award (COTY) today.

Thirty cars made it into the list for the first of the two-stage voting process, which calls for the nomination of seven finalists that will be announced by mid-December 2013. The second phase will decide the winner that will be revealed on the eve of the Geneva Motor Show in the beginning of March 2014.

The BMW 4 Series, i3 and the new X5 represents BMW on the list for this year. The jury consists of 58 members representing 22 European countries. The winner of the 2013 Car of the Year award was the VW Golf VII. Do you think BMW can bag the prize for 2014?
