The 2017 G01 BMW X3 will feature the upgraded design and platform, that are both design in a way to make the model sportier and more attractive to the customers.
The recent spy photos enabled the guys at AutoBild to create a new rendering and get closer to how the actual model will look like.
As we can see on the rendering, the G01 BMW X3 features sportier and more aggressive exterior, with more angles and new headlights. The headlights are changed from the last rendering, and they are now closer to the M2’s.
Though we can see the rear end on the rendering, it will probably feature somewhat lower roofline than the current model had and include the one-piece tailgate.
More interior space will be available due to the new rear-wheel drive flexible modular system. The vehicle will, therefore, be more comfortable.
Because of the usage of lighter materials, the new G01 X3 will be around 100 kg less heavy than the F25 X3. The loss in the weight department will provide more efficient driving and better driving dynamics. An extended wheelbase will be offered for the first time, probably only to the limited markets.
The G01 X3 will be unveiled at the beginning of the next year.
