The new BMW 5 Series has been announced, but we will also soon get the new BMW M5. The new generation of the sedan will come with a great performance increase and appeal to some new markets. For that purpose, the G90 BMW M5 will optionally come as a sport-tuned four-wheel drive.
The current spy shots show that the prototype has been tested on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. The car is now back to the M garage, waiting for the further changes.
For now, it has lost some weight thanks to the use of CFRP and high strength steel materials. It will come powered with the 4.4-liter V8 TwinTurbo, the same one used with the current M5.
