With BMW preparing all these new models such as the BMW M8 and the BMW Z4, we don’t want to neglect one of the most anticipated cars in a long time – the BMW M2 CS. In fact, the car may end up with the name BMW M2 CSL, but that doesn’t change the fact that it will probably be the best M car in the last 10 years.
The standard M2 has often be called as good as any M car should be. It’s not easy to assume how will the new model beat it, but we’re sure BMW has ways to make something even more awesome and wow the fans once again.
A new report shared on Bimmerpost shows some VIN numbers of the test vehicles used by BMW recently. They suggest that the S55 engine used in the M2 CLS will provide only 405 horsepower. That matches information we had earlier and seems like a daring move from the Bavarians.
