[Video] BMW M6 Gran Coupe vs Alpina B6 Gran Coupe Alpha Test

Alpina Automobiles has said in multiple occasions that they aim to enhance BMW cars and that they maintain a very good relationship with the German Automaker. Despite denying the rivalry, there is no stopping people who want to compare the cars they produce to the original. Check out this video from MotorTrend where they took the fastest car from Alpina and put it on an alpha test against the BMW M6 Gran Coupe.

The two cars have seemingly different strengths and they are built on different DNAs. The Alpina B6 Gran Coupe offers more luxury and comfort with the M6 Gran Coupe is made to dominate the race track. Though the B6 is considerably faster from standstill to 60 mph since it has 600 HP and more torque and an all-wheel drive mechanism, it cannot dominate the M6 on the track because of how it is engineered.

Clearly, both cars appeal to a certain type of customers. Do you prefer comfort over speed, or vice versa?
