BMW DTM drivers get a lot of track action but they are always in a controlled environment where the pressure to win is really high. It is rare to see them in a very different, relaxed circumstance. Watch a session where DTM driver Felix Antonio Da Costa breezes through a race track with no competitors, no rules, and no time laps to beat. He surely had fun at Hungaroring!
Da Costa strapped a 360-degree camera on to the passenger seat of the M2 he was driving so he can record it in 360 degrees. For context, Hungaroring is located near Budapest, Hungary. It was very obvious that Da Costa really enjoyed this drive. It showed that the BMW M2 can be modulated using just the right foot of the driver and the steering wheel. Well, yeah, it is not that easy. Its just easy for him as a BMW DTM driver.
Da Costa is a 25-year old Portuguese driver who started racing BMW DTM in 2014. He also drives in Formula E. BMW is rumored to build its own team but no confirmation has been made yet.
