Australia gets an exclusive BMW M140i Performance Edition. Production is limited to just 15 manual and 45 automatic units. All vehicles in this release will have a numbered plaque and an M Performance logo.
BMW included M Performance Parts to make the limited edition unique. It features grey 19-inch M Performance light alloy wheels, carbon fiber exterior mirrors, gloss black grille and black rear fins, a roof-mounted spoiler, M Performance exhaust system with chrome tailpipes, Alcantara and carbon fiber trim, M Performance steering wheel with carbon fiber and rear leather stitching, carbon fibrercentral console, Alcantara trimmed dash, cloth sports seats with Alcantara trim, and aluminum pedal covers for automatic. A carbon fiber gear shift knob and a mechanical limited slip differential was added for manual variants.
There are no power upgrades. The BMW M140i still has the new B58 3-liter straight-six turbocharged engine under the hood. It produces 340 HP and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque.
The car will be sold in Australia in the second quarter of this year.
