BMW of Manhattan shares these photos of the beautiful BMW M3 Competition in Imola Red from the list of Individual options. Visually, it gives the car an extra boost. It doesn’t even look like a 6-year-old car!
The Competition model is powered by an S55 engine with 450 hp. It is a very loud car that allows the driver to experience power instantly. Thanks to the precise coordination of the steering, chassis, active rear-axle differential and the electronic control systems plus a modified exhaust system.
Aside from the increase in power, the Competition Pack also adds chassis, suspension and steering tuning as well as tuning to the limited-slip differential and some interior tweaks, such as the new lightweight seats from the North American BMW M4 GTS and seatbelt with M-colored stripes. Ceramic brakes can also be included with an additional cost.
In the six-speed gearbox form, the standard sprint 0-62 mph is a tenth of a second slower than the model with a 7-speed M DKG, but in return offers an even more direct connection between driver and vehicle. The sprint? 4.1 seconds.
