We can all hardly wait for the new BMW M5 to come out, and in the meantime, the new M550i xDrive is the next best option. Unofficially called the fastest BMW 5 Series to date, the new 5er was built on BMW’s new Cluster Architecture platform, same as the new 7 Series. The CLAR platform makes the car lighter, stronger, and more dynamic while driving.
The owner of the model you see in these pictures decided to get his vehicle some new shoes and opted for a set of HRE RS200M wheels. They make the car look more aggressive and sporty and we must say we like it.
The M550 xDrive is equipped with an M Performance-tuned 4.4-liter V8 engine providing 456 HP and 480 lb-ft of torque. It needs no more than 4.0 seconds to get from 0 to 100 km/h and is electronically limited to a top speed of 250 km/h.
