The BMW 2 Series offers some seriously great cars. You can choose among Coupe or Convertible, but the F22 Coupe is probably the best choice at the moment. The HGK Motorsport crew realized that and they had one F22 modded so it now delivers impressive 820 HP.
In order to make that happen, they had to replace the engine. The new one comes from Mast Motorsports and it’s a reliable GM-sourced LS V8 model. It surely helped make a powerful machine out of the 2er.
Besides the new engine, the Latvian tuner took out all the unnecessary parts from the inside and created a minimalistic design. There is a new Samsonas 5-speed sequential transmission featuring a Winters differential. The wide body kit might not be the most attractive one in the world, but it will surely turn some heads on the streets.
This project was built to fit Formula Drift specifications and it’s recently been shipped off to Qatar’s MK Racing. It should be used for racing competitions. See how it looks in the video above.
