A Glimpse on the 2023 BMW M2 Coupe

The 2023 BMW M2 Coupe gains high expectations as it makes its way. It will be the next rear-drive M car and aims to impress us alongside the BMW M3 and M4. A more old-school setup is what the M2 aspires. This is definitely a piece of good news for many BMW fans. It’s because most BMW cars today are evolving into more complex, larger, and powerful performance machines. While many are trying to entertain us with some April Fools joke, the glimpse we have on the 2023 BMW M2 Coupe is not one of them.

According to some trusted sources, the 2023 BMW M2 Coupe will gain a matching setup with the BMW M3. With approximately 440 horsepower, the same S58 engine will also offer a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged i6. It’s just a little bit less of the power we know, but it’s still an impressive number. Moreover, this upcoming model will also arrive as a lighter and smaller vehicle.

An eight-speed automatic and a six-speed manual will also pair the engine of the 2023 BMW M2 Coupe, which is also the same for the M3. A Competition model for this unit is still unknown. However, the power level will determine the transmission choice if it pushes through.

From the get-go, the M2 Coupe will possibly wear a carbon fiber roof. This type of roof was developed only for the previous M2 CS. Most customers, however, do not like to update the look of their vehicle that much. This is more common to those who buy an M2 Competition, especially when it involves a structural component.

Compared to the normal grilles of M3 or M4, a good rumour tells that the new M2 will get that more aggressive and boxier design. This fits with the facts especially when grounded on the upcoming 2 Series Coupe. Without the bigger and monstrous-looking grilles, the front end of the M2 will possibly look more aggressive. It’s definitely great news for everyone who is expecting this unit to come anytime soon. What’s more is that the M2 will probably get the same M3 and M4 killer seats.

Its production will probably start in December 2022. While it may take a while before we fully see and experience it, the 2023 BMW M2 Coupe will definitely become one of the fantastic cars of BMW.
