BMW 3 Series is Auto Trader’s Most Searched Car

In this day and age, search engines are man’s best friend. We look for things we need and want online. Almost everything that sparks our interest is first searched online. Thus, the things we type in our browsers tell a lot about what we want as consumers. In the automotive segment, Auto Trader says that the most searched car in their database for last year was the BMW 3 Series. This is not the first time BMW was awarded this accolade. In fact, the 3 Series has won it for 6 years in a row. Here’s why.

This just reinstates the position of the 3 Series as one of the most popular sedans in the United States. It is uncommon for people to want the same car for 6 consecutive years but somehow, the 3 Series just beat out competition that is actually set out to outshine it. It beat the brand-new Mercedes-Benz C-Class despite this being the shiny new car in the segment.

The BMW 5 Series was also declared as the fifth most searched car, and the 1 Series is in sixth place. Mercedes-Benz had the C-Class and the E-Class on the list. Audi had only the A3 at eighth place.

The 3 Series may be the oldest car in its segment but it still has people searching for it at Auto Trader.
