2020: A Good Year for Award-winning Electrified BMW Cars

While 2020 is a terrible year for many, it is a good year for BMW – especially for its electrified vehicles. 2020 may in fact be the best year yet for these cars as several awards kept coming. These awards come from all around the world and aren’t stopping. This just proves that BMW has been doing a great job especially this year.

The most celebrated model is the BMW 330e. Auto Bild gave this plug-in hybrid model a “Goldenen Lenkrad” award. Auto Zeitung, on the other hand, gave the “Auto Trophy” and “Bild am Sonntag” awards. The British magazine “What Car?” also acknowledged the existence of this car batck at the beginning of 2020. They named the BMW 330e as the “Best Executive Car” and “Best Plug-in Hybrid”. In August 2020, the same magazine company added the 330e to its collection of “Electric Car Award”. Autocar and Parkers magazine have also named this plug-in hybrid as the “Best Company Car”.

The impressive BMW X5 xDrive45e is also an electrified BMW car that gained several awards this 2020. Globally, this car was recognized by different outlets such as “What Car?” from UK and Auto Express. The former gave the X5 xDrive45e the “Electric Car Award” while the latter named it as the “Best Large Premium SUV”. The online portal “Car Buyer” also named it as the “Best Large Plug-in Hybrid”. The BMW 530e Sedan also received an award from Car Buyer as they handed it the title of the “Best Large Company Car”.

Although it’s still not out in the market globally, the BMW iX3 also gains some credits this 2020. It gains some awards in China where it is being manufactured and where it is already available. Despite other electric vehicles entering China, the BMW iX3 receives the applause from the national publications “Auto World”, “miaodongche30”, “zhongshulaila”, and “sohu.com” as the “new arrival of the year”. Indeed, BMW succeeds in overcoming 2020 with its electrified vehicles.
