Driving both cars would reveal the difference. The Genesis G70 is honestly an exemplary sport sedan. It runs as fast as the M340i, has excellent steering, and a cozy cabin too. However, M340i has a much better engine. Its gearbox calibration also defeats that of the Genesis G70. The overall interior tech and fit of the 3 Series also outshine its rival’s interior.

Therefore, the BMW M340i defends its unbeaten crown against Genesis G70. The technologies and mechanics that BMW developed over the years proved their worth. But still, the Genesis G70 stood confidently against the current best BMW offering. This means that given some time, the model would eventually catch up to the 3 Series. The BMW 3 Series may have upheld its unbeaten crown today, but this may not be true in the next years.
