There will be a couple of new special edition BMW models launched in Japan this summer, including a BMW 330e.

After the M6, i8, and 7 Series, we’re presenting the BMW 330e plug-in hybrid Celebration Edition. How does it differ from the regular 330e?

The first thing that sets is apart is the exterior color. The limited edition will come in Tanzanite Blue from the BMW Individual catalog. More Individual features can be found inside, including the Merino leather in White and dash trims, door panels, and center console in Piano Black.

Some of the optional features that come with the 330e are the BMW Head-Up display, Harman/Kardon sound system, and a must-have for any special edition vehicle – the badge that makes it clear that this is one of the only 100 units of this particular model ever built.

No changes in specs were made, so the 3er features a 2-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that provides 184 HP and 290 Nm of torque. Being a hybrid, it also features an electric motor with 88 HP and 250 Nm of torque, but, unfortunately, they aren’t able to combine their power to the max, so the maximum output of the vehicle is 252 HP and 420 Nm.

The Celebration Edition 330e price is 6,780,000 Japanese Yen, or around $61,000, and the sales will start on July 9.
