[Video] BMW M440i Equipped with M Performance Parts

The BMWBLOG showcased the BMW M440i furbished with M Performance Parts on their exclusive video. Thanks to the BMW Welt, we get a glimpse of it before the M440i’s official debut. The visual upgrades, as expected, are the topmost concern of the M Performance Parts package. The quintessential part of the package highlights the carbon fiber materials found at the front.

In the air curtains, the front bumper comes with carbon fiber, working excellently with the Alpine White paint job. Also, a never-before-seen design features the strongly-shaped front lip. Made out of carbon fiber, the colossal kidney grille is also embellished and looks sleek with its carbon fiber materials. Completing the look of the BMW M440i’s front fascia is the canards.

In addition to that, its side skirts strut blacked-out graphics on the doors of the car while also wearing carbon fiber. As part of the braking system of the M Performance Parts, the 2021 BMW 4 Series will offer an option of integrating red calipers.

A more thrilling part on the video showcases the rear profile. The carbon fiber spoiler sports a sporty yet clean look, matched perfectly on the trunk’s design. The black-painted rear bumper also intensifies the look, partnered on a carbon fiber diffuser. The M440i’s badge, exhaust pipes and darkened taillights also joined in carrying out the blacked-out look.

Although the BMW is still silent about its current power upgrades, a power kit would be anticipated for this one. At the moment, the BMW M440i is engaging the six-cylinder in-line B58 unit, allowing it to hit 275 kW/374 hp from its 3.0-liter displacement. Over the most powerful variants in the past generations of the BMW 4 Series Coupe, the BMW M440i can give a boost of 35 kW/48 hp.

Its maximum torque strikes at 500 Nm and can be charged between 1,900 and 5,000 rpm. You can run fast in 4.5 seconds for its standard sprint of 0 to 100 km/h.
