Producing 335 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, this electric marvel ensures power on demand. Activate Boost Mode, and you gain an additional 26 horsepower to a notable 317 HP. Leveraging this power with launch control, the i5 eDrive40 dashes from 0 to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds.
With an EPA-rated electric range of 295 miles and 356 miles per the WLTP, the i5 eDrive40 boasts impressive mileage. BMW has plans to launch an xDrive variant of the i5 eDrive40, though it won’t be immediate.
