BMW Group Asia and Performance Motors Limited (PML) announced the availability of the all-new BMW 520i, setting new standards in the automotive world with its elegant appearance and state-of-the-art technology. The seventh generation of the BMW 5 Series exceeds customer expectations to be the ultimate business automobile for today’s Business Athletes.
The new petrol engine.
The engine in the all-new BMW 520i belongs to the newly developed, modular BMW EfficientDynamics family of power units. BMW TwinPower Turbo technology imbues all the members of the family with outstanding performance combined with exceptional efficiency.
The new two-litre four-cylinder in-line engine in the all-new BMW 520i develops peak torque of 290 Nm and maximum output of 184 hp. Its fuel consumption in the combined cycle comes in at 6.2 l/100 km, which means CO2 emissions of 141 g/km. Working in tandem with rear-wheel drive, the all-new BMW 520i accelerates from 0 – 100 km/h in 7.8 seconds on its way to a top speed of 235 km/h.
