BMW Considers New 5 Series Their Most Important Car for 2017

Forbes has reported that the brand new BMW G30 5 Series will be the single most important Bavarian car in the year ahead of us. The stakes are high – if, by any chance, the 5er doesn’t deliver the planned results, the BMW will lose the competitive advantage in the luxury car segment.

Mercedes-Benz could win the top place in this segment with their C-Class and E-Class luxury models. BMW’s 3 Series and the current 5 Series will be 5 and 6 years old in 2017, respectively. Meanwhile, Mercedes’ cars are newer and feature more modern design.
