The popularity of the BMW 3 Series is hard to beat, both by the other BMW lines and other manufacturer’s vehicles. From the millions of models sold worldwide, it’s extremely hard to find one with the V8 architecture. Even with the M series, it was used only in one generation. But here is a 3er with a V8 we’ve all been waiting for.
The BMW E46 330i you see in the gallery was tuned by the Bring a Trailer crew. The car features the GM LS3 V8 engine from a 2007 Cadillac Escalade instead of the M54 one.
The gearbox was replaced to support the new power. According to the seller, it now has 459 HP and 561 Nm of torque.
