There are less than 2 years left until unveiling the new BMW F90 M5, and the new bits of information are slowly completing the puzzle.
A reliable source confirmed that the new sedan will come with numerous additional features and that some of them are the Display Key and Gesture Control.
The new M5 won’t have the revolutionary technology, but use the one that was proven good on the G11/G12 7 Series. Still, many of the features will be completely new for the Motorsport division.
The manufacturers will rely on using aluminium wherever they can, so the vehicle will be at least 100kg lighter than the current M5 model.
As for the specifications, the F90 M5 will feature the same 4.4-liter TwinTurbo V8 layout but significantly improved. The model is expected to produce around 600HP and 800Nm of torque (590 lb-ft). Another expectation is that the new M5 will come with an all-wheel drive.
The list of features is still the most interesting thing about the F90 M5. According to some sources, you’ll be able to get the car with massaging seats, Bowers&Wilkins sound system, auto tailgate operation, Ambient Air package, Parking Assistant Plus (the feature that enables the car to park by itself), Driving Assistant Plus (for the car to drive itself), Remote Control Parking, Wi-Fi, Night Vision, and many more.
